Barry Kerfoot obtained a Bachelor of Commerce degree and his law degree from the University of BC. He has acted as counsel before the Supreme Court and the British Columbia Court of Appeal. Past officer and President of the Lawyers Assistance Program, Barry continues to volunteer his services to the LAP.
Peter has 35 years of experience in the insurance and financial service business. Peter holds a B.A. from SFU, the Chartered Life Underwriter designation, is a Trust and Estate Practitioner and Elder Planning Counselor as well as a Certified Senior Advisor.
Bill obtained his LL.B., at the UBC and his Masters of Laws (LL.M.) at Harvard University in 1981. He was appointed Queen’s Counsel in 2001 and is active in educational programs within the proffession. Bill has a connection with Edgewood and is pleased to "help it grow and succeed."
Born and raised in Delta, B.C., Mike Guichon obtained a bachelor of science in civil engineering from Seattle University. Mike was a farmer throughout his working years and sold his business in 2004. "I benefitted from treatment at the Edgewood ‘House of Miracles’ in the spring of 2003 and have endeavoured to help others of my situation ever since."
Jill Maibach has run a successful business in the construction industry while raising 2 grown daughters.
With extensive business experience Jill is a vibrant addition to the Board. "I see the Edgewood Foundation furthering our understanding of the disease of addiction and providing sponsorship funding for treatment for those unable to afford it."
Lorne Hildebrand, Executive Director of EDGEWOOD has an extensive background in organization consultation with over 20 years of management experience with various companies and service
organizations. Lorne has dedicated much of his time to helping others better understand the science of addiction and has become a well-respected presenter in the field of addiction.
